How to have your data removed from IntelliAgent

IntelliAgent, operated by Brainstorm Technologies, lets businesses connect their own Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, and WhatsApp numbers so an AI agent can answer the messages their customers send them. This page explains how to have that data deleted, whether you are the business that connected the account or someone who messaged one of those businesses.

If you are a business using IntelliAgent

You can disconnect a channel at any time from Channels in your dashboard. Disconnecting immediately revokes our access to that Page or account and stops any further messages from reaching us.

To delete the data we already hold, email hello@intellagents.io from the address on your IntelliAgent account with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will delete your account and its associated data within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.

If you messaged a business that uses IntelliAgent

When you send a message to a business on Facebook Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp, that business may use IntelliAgent to reply. In that case we process your message on their behalf, and the business — not IntelliAgent — decides how long it is kept.

You can ask us directly to delete your conversation data by emailing hello@intellagents.io. To find your records, please include:

  • The name of the business or Page you messaged
  • The platform you used (Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp)
  • The username, handle, or phone number you messaged from

We will delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email. You may also contact the business directly, and you can remove IntelliAgent’s access from your Facebook settings under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.

What gets deleted

A deletion request removes the data we hold about you, which may include:

  • Messages exchanged with an AI agent, and the replies it generated
  • Your name, profile handle, and contact details as supplied by the platform
  • Access tokens for any connected Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp number
  • Requests or tickets opened from your conversations
  • Account details, for businesses with an IntelliAgent account

What we may keep

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it — for example billing and tax records — or where it is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements. Anything retained for these reasons is kept only as long as necessary and is not used to contact you or to train models.
